About the author …
The Lord saved Kris at the age of 15 and instantly gave her a hatred of her sin and a big love for His Word. She was so grateful and amazed at what He had suffered on the cross for her that she asked Him to use her for His glory and never let her just warm a pew on Sunday mornings. Kris became a pastor’s wife and had the pleasure of attending classes at Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, completed The Master’s Seminary Wives Discipleship Program in Los Angeles, and was personally discipled by Elizabeth George. After lisping for several months Kris was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). This incurable disease was what Kris would call her “blessed chariot” that would take her home to heaven. During the agonizing progressive paralysis she finished typing this book, using only her eyes to type and communicate with the wonderful illustrator. The great King, the Lord Jesus Christ, called her home in 2023 and she is worshiping Him there face to face.
