“Undistracted is a particularly insightful work. It is always refreshing to delve into the life of our Lord. Within this, Slyman reminds us that Christ’s life is not a random series of events but one characterized by driving and defined purposes. Observing such purposefulness is especially instructive in light of the distractions that one faces in life and ministry. As head of the church, Christ sets our priorities by virtue of what He has explicitly stated and executed in His earthly ministry. Thus, this book is helpful in focusing us on the person of Christ, His divine will, and His determinations, as well as how we ought to uphold those priorities properly and practically in our lives. Slyman has provided an important resource to both pastors and lay people.”

-Abner Chou, President of The Master’s University and The Master’s Seminary, author of The Hermeneutics of the Biblical Writers: Learning to Interpret Scripture from the Prophets and Apostles.

“This book will drive you back to Christ’s mission to find your own. It is fresh, biblical, wonderfully encouraging.”

-Rick Holland, Pastor of Mission Road Bible Church, author of Uneclipsing the Son, and Faculty Member of the Expositor’s Seminary“This book will simplify your priorities.”

-Irv Busenitz, Professor Emeritus of Bible Exposition & Old Testament at The Master’s Seminary and author of Preaching the Minor Prophets
